A 45-year-old teacher from Kerala, Babheesh M, died after complaining of chest pain and collapsing near the entrance to Colva beach, where he had arrived with teachers and students on a study tour. According to police, the group reached the beach around 8.30 pm on October 25 and was waiting for food when he collapsed. He was taken to South Goa District Hospital, Margao, where he was declared brought dead.
