Digital Goa, Nov 10 – Konkan Railway has collected ₹15.21 crore in fines from passengers travelling without tickets between April and October 2025. During this period, railway authorities conducted 6,413 ticket-checking drives, penalising over 2.25 lakh ticketless travellers. Between April and September 2025, 5,493 special drives detected 1,82,781 unauthorised cases and recovered ₹12.81 crore, while 920 October drives led to 42,645 detections and ₹2.40 crore in penalties.
