Digital Goa, February, 3 – Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Konkan Railway has reported major gains in passenger safety and security over the past year through focused operations across its network.Under Operation Amanat, belongings of 252 passengers worth ₹122.48 lakh were recovered and returned. Operation Nanhe Farishte led to the rescue of 98 minor children, while Operation Satark resulted in the seizure of 6,877 bottles of illicit liquor and the arrest of 65 bootleggers. RPF personnel also saved four lives under Operation Jeevan Raksha and arrested 40 persons in luggage theft cases, recovering stolen property worth ₹48.67 lakh.
