Digital Goa, May 15-Konkani writer Purnanand Chari will be the new president of Goa Konkani Academy. Order appointing Chari to the post was issued by Official Language dept of Govt of Goa. Poet Ramesh Ghadi, Santosh Kerkar and Maya Kharangate have been appointed members of executive committee. Konkani writer Vasant Sawant was presently holding charge of Goa Konkani Academy as executive President.
