Digital Goa, Mar 10 – The KTC Drivers & Allied Association today held a protest meet in Panaji over failure of the govt to meet their long pending demands. During a meeting in Panaji, they called for the immediate payment of 34 months’ arrears, reinstatement of the 12% provident fund contribution, and urgent procurement of 300 new diesel buses. Workers Union leader Christopher Fonseca will hold a symbolic day long hunger strike tomorrow demanding swift government action.The Association has also warned of an indefinite strike from March 19 if the government failed to pay heed to their demands.
