Digital Goa, Apr 11 – In a push to modernize public transport, the Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) has approved the procurement of 50 new 9-meter electric AC buses with depot-based charging infrastructure and the rollout of a smart ticketing system and mobile app. These key decisions were taken at the 252nd Board of Directors Meeting of KTCL, chaired by Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho. Other agenda points discussed included expansion of share capital, development of supporting facilities, revival and creation of staff posts, and the extension of the “Mhaji Bus Yojana” to enhance transport services across Goa.
