Digital Goa, May 18 – A labourer was killed and another injured after a landslide at a retaining wall construction site at Harbour Road, Headland Sada, Mormugao this morning. The deceased, identified as Manoranjan Bind, got trapped under mud following the landslide, reportedly after the soil had loosened due to rain activity the previous day. Four labourers were present at the site when the incident occurred. While three managed to escape, one of them sustained injuries and has been admitted to hospital for treatment. The other two are safe. Fire Service personnel have launched a rescue operation to recover the body from the debris.
