Digital Goa, Nov 4 – Crime Branch seized a large quantity of illegal liquor worth lakhs, two trucks and 29 vehicle registration number plates of different states during a raid conducted late last night at a closed premises in Usgao, Ponda. During the search, officers confiscated 510 boxes containing 12 bottles each of 750ml liquor, along with 148 boxes containing 40 bottles each of 180ml. The seizure also included number plates bearing registration numbers from different states, suspected to be used for transportation of illicit goods. Four persons have been taken into custody.
