Digital Goa, Aug 20 – As expected, Law and Judiciary Minister Aleixo Sequeira has tendered his resignation from the Council of Ministers. He was also holding the portfolios of Environment, Captain of Ports, and Legislative Affairs. “I am compelled to take this decision due to personal reasons,” he stated in his resignation letter. Sequeira has been unwell for some time and was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Delhi. He made a brief appearance during the recently concluded Legislative Assembly session.
