Digital Goa, June 22 – High Court today ruled that the post of LDC is a promotional post to be filled in by promotion from out of Group ‘D’ employees or Class IV employees like Peons as is the case with Government Schools. The court order came in a petition filed by Paresh Kodbal, a Peon at the St. Britto’s High School, Mapusa, Goa challenging the direct recruitment of a person on the post. The Court further ordered that a Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) be constituted to select the candidate for the LDC post by following due process within 3 month.
