Digital Goa, Nov 29 – The Assistant Lineman has been suspended and Junior Engineer is under investigation in the electrocution of line helper Krishna Gaonkar at Mandrem few days back. Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar said that the compensation will be released to the family of the deceased in a month or two. As regard to the demand of the family for a compassionate appointment of a family member in govt service, he said that it will take some time and it will be done as per Rule. 42-years-old Line helper in Electricity dept Krishna Pawar had died due to electrocution at Mandrem last week. The family of the deceased had alleged negligence on the part of linesman and Junior Engineer in charge of the area.
