Digital Goa, April 11- Calangute MLA Michael Lobo has called for a hefty fine and strict enforcement against the rampant use and sale of gutka in Goa’s coastal belt. Highlighting how gutka spits stain beaches, streets, and walls, Lobo said the sale of gutka is widespread despite existing restrictions and should be completely banned to preserve cleanliness and public health in tourist areas. He also suggested fine to the tune of Rs 10,000 as deterrent.
