Digital Goa, Nov 26 – A logistics officer deployed at a Harvalem-based company warehouse has been arrested for allegedly misappropriating 21,000 kg of used cooking oil (UCO) worth ₹21.63 lakh from a warehouse in Harvalem, Sanquelim. According to the complaint filed in this regards accused from Valpoi fraudulently dispatched UCO from the Goa warehouse to Mumbai by mixing large quantities of water to falsely show stock as oil. The officer is also accused of fabricating delivery notes to execute the fraud.
