Lok Sabha Polls: Home voting for senior citizens, PwDs and covid patients from April 29 to May 3

Digital Goa, April 19 – District Election Officer, South Goa District, has notified the schedule for voting by Absentee voters i.e. senior citizens (above 85 years of age) (AVSC), persons with disability flagged in the database for electoral roll (AVPD), COVID 19 suspect or affected persons (AVCO) and Absentee Voters on Essential Services (AVES) through postal ballot paper. The schedule is as follows- for senior citizens, person with disability flagged in database of electoral roll and covid patients category, voting is scheduled from April 29, 2024 to May 3, 2024, from 9 am to 5 pm. Separate polling teams will be visiting the registered addresses of all the above categories. For the Absentee Voters on Essential Services category voting is scheduled from May 3, 2024 to May 5, 2024 from 9 am to 5 pm at designated Postal Voting Centres (PVC).
