Digital Goa, Jan 2 – Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao has objected to the announcement of the duration of the ensuing State Legislative Assembly Session as 6 working days, without taking inputs from Business Advisory Committee(BAC). In the bulletin issued by the Goa Legislative Secretary, it has been specified that the govt proposes to have sittings during the State Legislative Session from Feb 2 to Feb 9. This amounts to 6 working days given that there will be no sittings on Sat 3 rd and Sunday 4th. Pointing out that the CM had specified in the cabinet briefing that the number of days of the session will be decided during the BAC meeting, Yuri said that the bulletin issued by Goa Legislative Secretary for 6 working days once again proved that announcements of Goa CM are without any substance and not to be taken seriously. “For him BAC is Bhaajap Advisory Committee, not Business Advisory Committee,” he chided.
