Digital Goa, Oct 21- Loss of Distribution Company (DISCOM) Goa Electricity Dept for the year 2022-23 is pegged at Rs 415.61 crore as per NITI Ayog data. Goa has 7,21,400 electricty consumers of which 589640 are Domestic, 108453 are commercial, 6865 are Industrial, 12681 are agriculture, 1097 are Public Services and 2668. Total Electricity Sales of the DISCOM in (MU) is 4,241.87 while total revenue is Rs 1,992.54 crore. Average Power Puchase cost of Goa is Rs 3.96 per KWh while average Cost of Supply is Rs 5.68 per kWh. Average Billing Rate is Rs 4.70 per kWh with domestic consumers being charged at Rs 2.66 per KWh, Commercial 5.75 (Rs./kWh), Industrial 5.73 (Rs./kWh), Agriculture 2.26 (Rs./kWh), Public Services 4.28 (Rs./kWh) and Others 7.84 (Rs./kWh).
