Digital Goa, December 11, 2025 – The Luthra brothers, Gaurav and Saurav Luthra accused in the Goa nightclub fire that killed 25 people have reportedly been detained in Thailand, confirmed Union Minister of State Shripad Naik. The process to deport them to India to face trial has already been set in motion.Gaurav Luthra and Saurabh Luthra, co-owners of the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Arpora, fled India soon after the December 6 blaze that led to mass casualties and triggered widespread outrage over safety lapses. At the request of Indian authorities, an Interpol Blue Corner notice was issued against the duo through the CBI to trace their movement.
