Digital Goa, May 25- A meeting of the Mahajans of Shri Lairai Temple in Shirgao has rejected any blame for the recent tragedy that claimed six lives, instead attributing the negligence to the administration. The special meeting of the Mahajans, convened to discuss the report of the government-appointed fact-finding committee, expressed dissatisfaction with the committee’s decision to indict the Mahajans for the tragedy. The meeting also decided to provide Rs 1 lakh as aid to the family of each deceased and Rs 25,000 to each injured person.
