Digital Goa, August 10 – A major fire broke out near the PDA Market at Tisk Usgao, gutting large amount of stock inside paper plate unit. Stock worth lakhs, stored in preparation for Ganesh Chaturthi, was destroyed in the blaze as per the owner. Fire and Emergency Services personnel rushed to the spot, but significant damage had already occurred before their arrival. Short circuit is suspected to be the reason for the blaze.
