Digital Goa, June 2 – Mardol Police have registered a case against a man following a complaint by a woman from Ponda, alleging that he repeatedly had sexual relations with her on the false promise of marriage and later failed to fulfil his commitment.According to the complaint, the accused befriended the woman and, between June 2020 and March 2026, allegedly had sexual intercourse with her on multiple occasions at Farmagudi and other locations after assuring her that he would marry her. The complainant further alleged that the accused later abused her using offensive language and threatened her with dire consequences.
