A seven-year-old boy who fell from a running train near Carambolim was rescued by a person identified as Rameshwaran, along with his friends, on Tuesday evening. The child was travelling with his parents from Margao to Pune when the incident occurred. Rameshwaran, a painter by profession, was sitting near the railway track when he heard the child crying. He and his friends rushed to the spot, found the injured boy in the bushes near the track and immediately shifted him to GMC for treatment. The child’s condition is reported to be stable.
