Digital Goa, Aug 10 – Konkan railway police arrested one Nasim alias Salim Khan from Jharkhand who has committed dozens of robberies in running trains. The 56-years-old man from Bokaro-Jharkhand was staying at Alto-Dabolim. He has admitted having committed nearly 35 robberies on Margao to Karwar route. Police have recovered gold ornaments, cash and mobile phones worth Rs 15 lakh from the accused. He was caught in connection with a Rs. 7.5 lakh worth theft reported by a train passenger from Corlim on August 7. He was shuttling between Margao and Karwar railway stations and targeting unsuspecting women passengers.
