Digital Goa, Oct 18 – A Tamil Nadu native who had cheated nearly 300 people to the tune of Rs 40 lakh on the pretext of selling scooters to them was nabbed in Goa. The accused identified as A Rajesh collected the money from the gullible customers in Tamil Nadu and fled away with the money. He was nabbed from Corlim, Old Goa in a joint operation by Tamil Nadu and Old Goa police. An offence was registered at the Kunaimuttur Police Station, Coimbatore to this effect. He was also wanted at other police stations in Tamil Nadu in such other criminal cases, informed police. The vehicle involved in offence is also recovered by Tamil Nadu. The accused was using TN registered vehicle by changing number plate as per the state he visited.
