Digital Goa, June 18 – The Goa government may soon extend the requirement of prior job experience—currently mandatory for LDC and MTS posts—to other categories of government jobs, CM Pramod Sawant informed. He also said the state is in the process of onboarding an institution to facilitate on-the-job educational upgradation. Under this initiative, ITI-qualified candidates with two years of experience will be eligible to appear for exams to upgrade their qualification to a diploma in engineering. Over time, more such on-the-job upskilling initiatives will be introduced , Sawant added.
