Digital Goa, July 28 – A 25-year-old man from Manipur is feared to have drowned at Anjuna Beach in North Goa after he was allegedly swept away by strong waves on Tuesday. The missing person has been identified as Yapan Sharon, who was employed at a hotel. According to preliminary information, Sharon had gone to the beach with three friends when the incident occurred. He was reportedly pulled into the sea by strong waves and has since remained untraced. Search and rescue operations are currently underway to locate the missing youth.
