Digital Goa, August 6 – A Mapusa resident has been arrested for alleged possession of 47 monitor lizard skins and 14 ghumats made from the same skins. Forest Department conducted the raid at Shelpem, Dhuler–Mapusa. Officials informed that the accused was a repeat offender and ainvolved in a similar wildlife offence earlier.
