Digital Goa, Sept 5- School headmaster and a teacher from Marcaim school has been granted anticipatory bail by children’s court today in the alleged molestation of 14-year-old student by physical education (PE) teacher at the school. Hearing on the bail plea of the accused PE teacher is scheduled on Sept 11. Both the headmaster and the teacher were booked by Mardol police for allegedly violating section 19 of the POCSO Act. The victim girl had allegedly first narrated the molestation incident to teacher and then to the headmaster way back in the month of March, but they failed to inform the police for almost 5 months, thus violating section 19 of the POCSO Act. Mardol police have included names of both of them in the FIR registered against the PE teacher for allegedly molesting a 14-year-old girl student. Parents and locals had marched to the Mardol police station few days back demanding arrest of both the Headmaster and the teacher.
