Aug 30- 71-year-old Advocate Jayant Prabhu committed suicide at his residence at Davorlim yesterday morning. He has allegedly named a lady PSI and a constable in his suicide note. Family members of the deceased have refused to accept the body till such time that FIR is registered against the police personnel named in the suicide note. The note allegedly holds police personnel’s ‘extremely rude’ behaviour responsible for the drastic step taken by him to end his life. Large number of Advocates from South Goa accompanied by family members of the deceased met Dy SP Santosh Dessai and demanded FIR in the matter. Navelim MLA Ulhas Tuemkar also arrived at the police station. Dy SP Dessai assured thorough inquiry and FIR as early as possible. He however refrained to give any specific deadline.
