Digital Goa, Mar 20- CM Pramod Sawant today said that he has ordered thorough investigation into the caretaker woman case in Margao. He also said that the govt is looking at human trafficking angle in the matter. Sawant however denied allegations of delay in registering of complaint. “She (victim) came on her own with the NGO and said that no rape has happened. It depends upon victim after all,” said CM. “I have reviewed the matter and sought a detailed report,” said Sawant adding that the report will be made public once received.
Meanwhile, the Margao based person through whom the woman was brought to Goa has been arrested by Police. Identified as 32-year-old Shabrish Manjrekar, the man has been apprehended for allegedly cheating the woman by impersonating as licensed contractor and promising to give employment to the woman as caretaker.
