Sept 25 – Margao Municipality officials have fined a vehicle owner to the tune of Rs 5,000 for dumping construction waste along the roadside on Aquem ring road. Acting in the presence of police officials, the vehicle owner was directed to remove the dumped waste from the site immediately. Meanwhile MMC has announced collection drive of e-waste and other waste such as old clothes from households, offices, and shops within its jurisdiction from September 26 to 29.
