Digital Goa, Oct 13 – A massive traffic jam was reported on the Porvorim–Guirim stretch as the PWD conducted a trial run of its proposed road closure plan. Commuters faced severe delays during the exercise. The trial was precursor for closing yet another stretch of road to facilitate ongoing work on the elevated corridor at Porvorim. As per commuters who had to wait for hours at end, inability of the traffic police to manage the vehicles parked along the roadside added to the jam.
