Digital Goa, Dec 28 – Goa govt has called for a meeting of State Environment Dept, Goa State Pollution Control Board, CRZ authorities, local MLA, Environment Minister etc on Jan 4 to decide on the support govt can extend to Girkarwad, Arambol people regarding High Court order pertaining to demolition of illegal structures in the area. Acting tough on the illegalities High Court had ordered the authorities to carry out thorough joint inspections and close all illegally operating businesses as well as demolish structures violating CRZ and other norms at Girkarwado. People affected by the High Court order met CM Pramod Sawant today. “Whatever is legal will get support from the govt. We will give them solution accordingly,” said Sawant.
