Digital Goa, Nov 14 – MGP President Deepak Dhavlikar has refuted claims made by Pooja Naik, asserting that she was never employed at the MGP office. “We never had anyone with this name in our office,” he said on Friday. Dhavlikar also confirmed that the Crime Branch has taken one of MGP’s former staff members for inquiry. “Let the Crime Branch investigation complete. Truth will come out,” he said, adding that Pooja “looks disturbed” and is “saying what she is being told to say.” Questioning why the party was being targeted, Dhavlikar said, “We are innocent.” He further pointed out that the MGP was not in the government between 2019 and 2022, distancing the party from allegations linked to the 2019 mega recruitment drive.
