Digital Goa, Jan 5- Mhadei matter did not come for hearing before the Supreme Court because Justice Narsinha recused from the case yesterday as he had represented Goa in the matter earlier, informed CM Pramod Sawant. “The matter was listed for hearing before Justice Narsinha yesterday. But since Justice Narsinha had represented Goa in the Mhadei water dispute earlier, he could not take up the case. Therefore the case was postponed for hearing today. However it could not get listed with SC today,” said Sawant. CM asserted that Goa government’s legal team including AG Devidas Pangam and Advocate Khambata from Mumbai had discussed the matter and the legal team was prepared to attend the case in Delhi. “We will appeal to the Supreme Court to take the case on board as early as possible,” said Sawant. He also said that Goa delegation will soon go to Delhi to meet PM, HM and Union Water Resource Minister, however the date for the same is not yet decided. “We are very serious about the issue,” he asserted.
