Digital Goa, Feb 11- Supreme Court has now listed the Mhadei matter for next hearing on August 5, 2024. All the 3 riparian states, Goa, Karnataka and Maharashtra have been liberty to file additional written submissions not exceeding ten pages, within a period of eight weeks from Feb 8. The matter came for hearing before the apex Court after nearly 7 months, on Feb 8. The last hearing was held in the matter on July 10, 2023. Karnataka had submitted that they would like to file additional papers and documents. “The needful may be done within a period of three weeks from today,” the court said. All the 3 states have been asked by SC to nominate a nodal counsel for the bookmarking of the convenience compilations. During the course of arguments, only the convenience compilations will be referred, stated the court order.
