Digital Goa, Jan 28 – The Directorate of Mines and Geology (DMG), Goa, has invited bids for the grant of mining leases for iron ore and manganese ore through e-auction. These include five iron ore blocks located in North Goa and one composite iron ore and manganese ore block in South Goa. The 5 mineral blocks identified in North Goa for auction are: Cudnem Mineral Block No. XIII (Iron Ore), Cudnem Mineral Block XIV (Iron Ore), Pissurlem Mineral Block No. XV (Iron Ore), Pissurlem Mineral Block XVI (Iron Ore), Adwalpale–Moitem Mineral Block No. XVII (Iron Ore). In South Goa the Cavorem–Maina Mineral Block No. XVIII (Iron Ore and Manganese Ore) will be e-auctioned. The price of the tender document for each mineral block is ₹5 lakh, exclusive of GST.
