June 20 – Mining ore transportation has been prohibited on public road from June 7 till Sept 2,2024. “In pursuance of clause 11 of Goa Mineral Policy 2013, the transportation of either Lumps and Fines on the public roads is not permitted for the period 7th June 2024 till 2nd September 2024 except for utilization as captive or domestic consumption within the State,” states an order issued by Directorate of Mines & Geology.
