Digital Goa, August, 6 – The body of 25-year-old Akash Vishwakarma, a native of West Bengal, was recovered on Thursday morning after an overnight search operation in the Salvador do Mundo–Socorro creek, where he went missing following a road accident. Vishwakarma reportedly fell into the creek on Wednesday night after his motorcycle allegedly brushed against a scooter while crossing a narrow culvert near Paithona, Porvorim. Fire and Emergency Services recovered his motorcycle from the creek bank, while NDRF and rescue teams resumed the search on Thursday morning before recovering his body.
