Digital Goa, Feb 10 – Legal Metrology Dept seized mobiles and accessories worth Rs 32 lakh in raids on Goa branches of reputed national mobile outlet chain. The items were seized for violating various guidelines under Legal metrology Act. The raids were conducted at Margao, Panaji, Ponda, Margao, Vasco. Several China make mobiles where the country of make was replaced as India have also been seized. The Dept has advised citizens to think twice before purchasing smartphones and accessories and be an informed customer.
