Digital Goa, Feb 28 – IT Dept Dy Director Siddharth Borker whose audio seeking bribe to the tune of Rs one lakh to give contract basis job in ITG had gone viral, has been placed under suspension pending inquiry. IT Minister Rohan Khaunte informed that FIR has also been filed against the officer. As the official concerned is a gazetted officer, the Dept has written to Vigilance Dept and also asked CM to prioritize the vigilance inquiry, he added. When queried about the other voice of a lady in the audio who was called by the official, Khaunte said, “We have asked for thorough investigation.”
