Digital Goa, Jan 5- In the next 5 years the Manohar International Airport will be scaled to attend to 13.5 million passengers per annum informed GMR Goa International Airport Limited (GGIAL) officials. The greenfield airport commenced its operations today with its first flight landing at the Airport from Hyderabad at 9 am today morning. The number of flights will be increased to 50 by weekend, the official informed. GMR plans to develop the airport as a destination airport with an Aero city comprising of amusement parks, hotels etc built around it.
