Digital Goa, Nov 27 – Goa has seen a rise in the number of Bangladeshi nationals deported this year compared to the previous year, DGP Alok Kumar said on Wednesday. According to the DGP, illegal Bangladeshi immigrants were involved in the recent dacoities reported in Dona Paula and Mapusa. He said the gang members entered the state illegally, executed the crimes, and left soon after. “They came, struck, and went back,” Kumar stated. He also highlighted the need for stronger checks, verification mechanisms, and interstate coordination to prevent such incidents.
