Digital Goa, April 24 -Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) has issued a notice urging all house owners in Vasco to declare if their residential properties—houses, flats, or bungalows—are leased or rented out. Owners are required to submit details along with a copy of the lease agreement to the Council within 15 days. Failure to comply may lead to action, including withdrawal of Power and Water No Objection Certificates (NOCs) till the matter is decided upon, if the occupant is found to differ from the owner listed in municipal records, warns a notice issued by MMC. The Council has also appealed to residential societies and the general public to report rented tenements known to them.
