Digital Goa, Jan 12 – Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways(MoRTH), has made declaration of acquisition of land, admeasuring an area of 23,566 Square metres for building, (widening/ four laning etc.), maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No.66 on the stretch of land from Km. 602.900 to Km 610/900 in the State of Goa (End of Canacona Bypass to Pollem) at Loliem village of Canacona Taluka. The Competent Authority of Land Acquisition (CALA) is in the process of determination of amount, payable as compensation to the land owners. In view of this the Competent Authority has given a public notice for inviting claims from all persons interested in the land to be acquired. All the persons interested in the land have been asked to appear before CALA, Office of the Special Land Acquisition officer, PWD(Cell), Altinho, Panaji- Goa either in person or by an agent or by a legal practitioner and state the nature of their respective interest in such land on or before Jan 30, 2024 between 10 am to 5.45 pm.
