Sept 13 – Henceforth, minimum land rates in the popular beach destinations like Calangute, Candolim, Anjuna and Siolim will be Rs 25,000 per m2 for the purpose of calculating stamp duty. Goa govt today notified revised minimum land rates for Pernem & Bardez for 2024-25 which are more than double as compared to the existing rates. These are base values and are applicable to S1 zone for the area upto 1000 m2. However for an area upto 500 m2 in zone S1 to S4 the said rate will be reduced by 30 percent. Govt has classified areas into urban, developing, rural and coastal with per sq meters revised base price ranging between Rs 4,000 to Rs 25,000 for Bardez and Rs Rs 1,500 to Rs 15,000 in Pernem taluka.
