Digital Goa, July 11- After nearly seven days of the death of Chimbel taxi driver Jayesh Chodankar, the Old Goa police finally registered a case of murder in the matter. The incident had occurred on July 5. Two persons, Rupesh Volvoikar and IRB police Pritesh Adkonkar who are presently in judicial custody, have been booked in the case. Jayesh’s family members have refused to take possession of the body asserting that Jayesh’s death was a case of murder and not an accident, as claimed by the police earlier. They had demanded that a case of murder be filed in the matter. Some more arrests are likely in the case.
