Naksha survey to begin in Panaji, Taleigao from March 20

Digital Goa, Mar 18 – Directorate of Settlement and Land Records has issued a public notice announcing the commencement of ground survey work under the Naksha (National Geospatial Knowledge-based Land Survey) project in parts of Tiswadi taluka from March 20,2026. The survey will cover multiple areas in Panaji city, including the Bus Stand, Patto, Ribandar, Miramar and Caranzalem, as well as Taleigao village, including Goa University, Dona Paula Plateau and surrounding localities. Each phase of the survey is expected to last around 10 days. Authorities have urged all house owners and residents to be present during the survey period and provide necessary information to officials to ensure accurate measurement and recording of properties. Property owners, including those residing outside India, have also been advised to ensure their land rights are properly documented. The department has stated that surveyors may enter premises with permission for internal measurements wherever required.
