July 29- Names of 7 MLAs including Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar featured in the list of Public Functionaries published by office of Lokayukta Goa today for failing to submit statements of assets & liabilities for the year 2022-23. The details have not been released by the public functionaries till July 19,2024, states a public notice issued in this regards. The list comprises of 7 MLAs, several councillors of CCP as well as municipalities, ZP members and panch members of all panchayats across Goa. The 7 MLAs who have not submitted the statements include Pernem MLA Pravin Arlekar, Saligao MLA Kedar Naik, Cumbarjua MLA Rajesh Faldessai, Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar, Benaulim MLA Captain Venzy Viegas, Quepem MLA Altone D’costa and Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar. Last date to submit the statement was November 5, 2022.
