NCB freezes assets worth Rs 1.06 crore belonging to Nigerian drug peddler and his wife

    Digital Goa, April 11 – NCB-Goa busted a drug syndicate and froze assets worth Rs 1.06 crore belonging to Nigerian drugs peddler Stanley and his wife Usha C. Two of the drug peddlers caught by NCB Goa in February this year, one Raju S and a local taxi driver Michael had named Stanley as their boss.   Stanley who operated a major drug syndicate was arrested by Telangana police in NDPS case on February 5. His wife Usha C was arrested from Candolim on Feb 21 as she was found to be actively involved in the drug trade, according to NCB Goa. Following her arrest, illegally acquired properties belonging to the couple worth Rs 1,06,10,375 were then frozen by NCB.
