Digital Goa, Oct 26 – Babu Gaonkar from Netravali-Sanguem gave Goa its first gold medal in National Games. Gaonkar won the gold medal in Modern Pentathlon in the men’s laser run category. Pentathletes compete in five disciplines- fencing, swimming, riding, shooting and running. Babu got his gold in the laser run category at the event held at Ponda.
